Dear Effie and Aurt and Kids,

Received your letter a while ago and was glad you were well and out of quarantine.
I am glad to tell you my stomach is just fine and the bon cracker helped me.  The
first cracker he gave me, I will never say that they are no good for I have found
out better after I have taken 8 or 9 treatments and will take 25 so that ought to
make one well, but you know I am just as weak as a child.  Will try and hold out
this month then I will take a couple of months rest but I can't come home before as
I am all alone.

Took my last man off yesterday and it snowed last night and had to clean switches
this afternoon and it was hard you see I have no strength left.

I hope the kids keep well.  Give my love to them from Grandpa and tell Dick he must
be a good boy.  Well, must close.

Love from,

Dad
